About Us
Building community for Filipino Canadians in the Okanagan
The Okanagan Filipino-Canadian Society (OFCS) is a community organization focused on connection, culture, and support. We bring people together through events, outreach, and community-building initiatives.
Our Mission
The Okanagan Filipino-Canadian Society (OFCS) is dedicated to supporting, empowering, and uniting the Filipino community in the Okanagan through cultural preservation, community service, newcomer support, and meaningful partnerships. We serve as a trusted bridge that connects Filipinos to resources, opportunities, and one another while celebrating our heritage and contributing positively to the broader Canadian community.
Our Vision
We envision a strong, visible, and connected Filipino-Canadian community in the Okanagan — one that is proud of its cultural roots, supported through every stage of settlement, engaged across generations, and recognized as an active and valued contributor to the region’s social, cultural, and economic life.
